Nadia 1

Nadia 1 mine (Títle No. 228015) is located 44 kilometers to the east of Culiacán city, driving only 4 kilometres on unpaved road and then walking on foot over an abandoned road for about 4 more kilometers (Culiacan city is about 10 hours by car from Nogales AZ). The power lines and water suply are about 7 kilometres away from de mine site. The mining concession has an area of 100 hectares (about 240 acres). The gold content is present in some veins of quartz, ranging from 9 to 50 grams of gold per metric tonne, just the tails (wastes left on the mine site for ancient miners) has more than 8 grams of gold and 100 grams of silver per metric tonne. According to the prevouis owners, the gold reserves were estimated in 70,000 ounces of gold.
